Guatemala - Pacaya (Reverence)
Pacaya had erupted just six months prior to my climb. This intrepid bush had managed to root itself on the side of the volcano, but seemed to revere its smoking maw...Technically a very challenging shot: the sun is right above the frame, the scene has extremely high contrast. Olympus E-PL1 and Panasonic 7-14mm at 11mm f/9 performed flawlessly and made this tough shot possible.
