Two of my photographs made the top 10 in their respective categories in the 2007 Venice International Photo Contest (full contest results). The first one is Julija's abs in the Nude & Glamour monochrome division —which also received an honorable mention—, and the second is Guggenheim Museum in the Architecture & Urban Sight monochrome division. Both divisions are sanctioned by Photographic Society of America (PSA).
VIPC received over 2000 entries, and I am proud that my efforts have reached such a high position. And I am quite humbled to see my abstract Guggenheim Museum among the stunning work in the 2007 VIPC Catalogue (pdf). Guggenheim Museum is surely one of the most photographed buildings in the world, yet it still made it into the catalogue — although I feel that the female form is much more evocative, and that Julija's abs make a better photograph of the two.
