I spent three weeks in Central America in November last year; it is a gorgeous place, the people are friendly, and the weather was great. I have been getting all the photos from my trip in order, and the first group is ready in a new gallery: Guatemala. It includes shots from Antigua and her volcanoes, Flores and Tikal.

I spent a few gorgeous fall days in Ireland last weekend, and got some great shots. I have photos from Dublin, Dunleary and Glendalough up in the Ireland gallery. We stopped at the Glenmacnass Waterfall on Military Road, and the thick fog and delicate early fall colors perfectly fit my Minimalist Landscapes project, with three new shots.

I have set up a new gallery to host photos from my trips to Slovakia. The first update includes a night-time panorama of the beautifully restored Bratislava Castle, as well as several shots from Trencín in north-western Slovakia. They are in Slovakia gallery.

The annual International Fireworks Festival was held this weekend in Scheveningen, near Den Haag in eastern Holland. The weather was perfect for the British and Belgian teams, and I have several shots from the event in the new fireworks gallery. Especially the sunset complemented the colorful fireworks.

We visited Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck restaurant for a friend's birthday a while back, and of course I took some photos on the trip. Two are uploaded in the United Kingdom gallery.

I visited Knokke-Heist on the Atlantic coast in Belgium last weekend, and also saw a beach polo match. Managed to burn myself a bit, but also got some photos, which are in the Belgium gallery.

I spent a sunny weekend in Dublin recently, and enjoyed the Irish scenery immensely. I took the advice from some friends and acquaintances, and visited Howth near Dublin as well - and I wasn't disappointed! The photos are in the new Ireland gallery!

I'm quite excited about a new feature I've been working on for a while: now all my images can be found on Google Maps! The map is on the main page. As there are quite a few images, they are clustered in groups, and you can zoom by using your mouse scroll wheel or by clicking on the number icon to get to each image. The images are still to be found as country galleries in the top menu if you prefer to navigate that way.

Due to increased demand for prints (thanks!), I needed to find a more convenient way to sell them. I found out about a new service called BuyThisImage!. The name is self-explanatory: when you see that link below a photo, clicking on that takes you to a page where you can buy a print. You can then go directly to checkout, or return to the main site to look around for more prints.

A minor update to the site UI: Highslide JS is a nifty script which pops up the images when you click on the thumbnail. I updated the code, and now you can see a control bar when you hover over an image.

The first photo of my first distinct project is out. Amsterdam 50 starts with a shot of the starting line of Dam tot Damloop. Street photography is new to me, but Amsterdam has such varied life inspiration comes easy.
