Castellammare del Golfo is a sleepy little town near the northern tip of Sicily, named after the fortress at the sea. I drove past it during the day, and saw this scene from a viewing platform. I decided to come back after dark. And I was rewarded by this clear view of the town's lights jutting into the sea. The strong colorization in the upper and lower parts of the photo is due to street lights, which record differently on film depending on the type of light source.
