Hong Kong (Nighttime Traffic II)

Hong Kong. I don't have enough words of praise for this jewel of a city. It is a veritable feast for the senses: colorful, loud, safe, efficient, expensive, has perhaps the most delicious food in the world, and "makes New York City look slow" - words of a Big Apple native...I tried to capture this relentless speed in this nighttime traffic scene in Wanchai on Hong Kong Island. Shot from an overpass with long exposure so car lights become streaks of light. The 78-floor, 378 meters (833 feet) tall Central Plaza in the center of the frame in the background is perhaps the most notable landmark in this shot.
