USA - New York - New York City (Central Park Sunset)

This colorful photo was taken shortly after sunset in southern Central Park in New York City. The Park is quite safe these days even after dark, and NYPD and Park Services officers patrol the park often. Entering the park from the crowded street is a soothing and incongruous experience after a long day of sightseeing and the hustle and bustle of the city...The apartment buildings with their reflections off the pond provide a strong juxtaposition to the foliage in the foreground, which was lit by streetlights.
